I have just bought the Yanagisawa Bronze Bari Sax, it's awesome. The tone is amazing; the middle C rides a little flat. The bronze is a little bit heavier than the regular gold lacquer saxes. The bronze gives it a deeper tone and richer sound. I found it a lot easier to get to altissimo than the Cannonball Bari I played before. All in all this sax is very good; I recommend (of) all types of saxes to get should be Yanagisawa. They are also the only hand made sax anymore, so you know that quality is valued over quantity.
