I bought this clarinet because I needed a good horn for several ensembles and was tired of using University horns. I also tried the CSG and a R13. For me, I liked the Yamahas and the price made my decision easy. I found the SEV better in tune and was a little easier blowing then the CSG. I liked something in the sound of the SEV over the other clarinets I tried. The altissimo comes out easily and in tune.
