Product Description
Yamaha
The Yamaha YCL-250 Bb Clarinet offers many features that allow the student clarinetist to start off right. The high impact, resin body of the YCL250 is impervious to temperature and humidity changes and resists cracking. The Yamaha YCL-250 clarinet features key work that is durable enough to withstand the pounding it will get in a school band yet remains smooth and easy to use. The best feature we found of YCL-250, however, is the scale. You will be hard pressed to find a student clarinet that plays better in tune. Complete with case, Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature and cap.

I got my first clarinet a few months ago and I love it. When I first started before I got this clarinet I was in 2nd chair but as soon as I played my clarinet in band my band teacher loved the sound and bumped me up to 1st chair. I really recommend this clarinet to any beginner.

My wife and I bought this clarinet four years ago for my, then, 8-year old. She's played with her school band all four years and is ready to move up to a more expensive instrument. I feel she was able to learn the basics of this instrument and take it as far as she could. It's held up well and maintained pitch through time. It's worth the price. We got our money's worth out of it...
