I bought this Guitar without the pkg. Mine has a hard shell case so I can take it camping with me, and make sure it stays safe. The Guitar has horrible strings on it out of the box, and is hard to press down. Don’t worry though, Pick up a set of D'Addario EJ-26 Phos Bronze, or Elixir .011-.052 custom light strings, and you'll be pleased with this baby. It has a warm rich sound, and after the string change will play really easy. I would strongly recommend it for new beginners that don’t want to spend a mint starting out. The tuners are another plus! It stays in tune really well. I am a scoutmaster and my troop camps a lot, so I have been happy with the durability of this Yamaha 325, especially in the outdoors, which can kill a guitar. It is a keeper for sure.

This guitar is nice for the price. It stays in tune great, is easy to change to different tunings, has a really nice neck, and over all, it is a pretty good buy!
