Yamaha Tenor sax G1 silver neck

The Yamaha G1 silver neck is amazing. The intonation in all of the registers is wonderful. When it is paired up with a lacquer Yamaha sax it creates the most brilliant tone. I would not want to have any other tenor sax set up other than this one.

A Great Neck

Although a lot of people have been against the G1 Neck, I find it to be quite beneficial to the sound of the instrument. A 62II owner, I can easily tell the difference between the 62II with the G1, and with the student neck. The G1 features a fuller tone, and it's nearly impossible to bend it, unlike the student 23 neck. I've lost chairs because of the 23 neck malfunctioning, but with the G1 Neck, my sax life has been a lot easier.
