The APX500 features a beautiful mother-of-pearl sound hole ring inlay, white fingerboard binding, white/black body binding, mother-of-pearl APX & Yamaha headstock logos and position markers.

The APX500 also features a revamped version of the tried and true System55T. This is a 1-way piezo pickup system that comes with a 3-band EQ and built-in tuner.

The Yamaha APX500 is the lowest price Yamaha APX model and has a spruce top with nato back and sides for articulate, crisp sound. A saddle-mounted piezo pickup with 3-band EQ and tuner keep your tone and tuning locked in.

I went through a lot of guitars before settling on this one as my mainstay! The tone is wonderful; amped up or just acoustic. I especially love the thin body feature which makes this little beauty easy to handle. A great guitar for gals because of its size. Not that we ladies cannot handle the bigger models like dreadnoughts, but somehow I find this just right for my tastes. The use of Elixer strings on it makes it really sweet! You will not regret buying this one - and at a great price. I love it that there are so many colors. I may even purchase another one, just for variety, as I already have the black model - VERY SHARP!!!
