I just bought this horn a little over six months ago. This is by far the best horn I have ever played on. It has incredible response in all register and can play well at any dynamic level. The design of the lead pipe gives the horn amazing response and clarity when you are playing. Intonation is great and the horn is flexible enough to fix any issues. I played this horn in several chamber ensembles, in a symphony orchestra, with solo literature, and in a wind ensemble. The tuba blends well in any ensemble. It has the power needed to support a symphony, yet the delicacy required for solo work. I would recommend this horn to anybody looking for a solid F tuba.
