A light, comfortable trombone with as good (of) a tone as any and with a slide as good as any. The slide is a joy to use with "slide O mix" or "super slick!" I received the horn with nary a defect in the lacquer. Do not get carried away by claims of this metal or that metal making you sound like one of the greats. All trombones are made of brass with the only difference in tonal quality being in the bore size. I prefer a large bore, but for most jobs, the Weril is as good as they get. I play mine daily and really enjoy it!
