I owned this Bass Clarinet for 20 years and used it with a Bay Neck Joint. I sounded great. The only reason I got rid of it was that I purchased a top of the line Yamaha Bass Clarinet with a low C extension at about five times the cost of this instrument. Don't overlook this just because it has a resin body. Also, look into a Bay Neck Joint. Also, the low Eb on the body is wonderful. You don't have to worry about the connection getting crooked due to the bell being bumped.
