Tradition of quality
The Vater factory produces over ten thousand sticks per day, which are shipped to over a thousand drum shops and music stores in thirty five countries. Founded by Jack Adams in the 1940's, Jack (a great drummer himself) started turning drumsticks for some of the greatest drummers of the day including Buddy Rich and Louie Bellson. The tradition of quality that Jack started provided the Vater family with a challenge; continue to improve and perfect the art and craft of drumstick making into the new millennium. By the way, Jack is Alan and Ron Vater's Grandfather, so you can see, quality truly is a family tradition. Today, the unmatched quality of Vater has attracted the top players in the world like Marvin "Smitty" Smith of the Tonight Show, Chad Smith, Virgil Donati and the list goes on and on.
