Screws on top
The reed, free from the metallic mass of the screws, has better response. Jazzmen knew it who put screws of their ordinary ligature on top.
Two fastening points
To hold the reed flat on the table, two light embossings on fastening belts which are set up well apart. Not to interfere with free vibration, the belts binding have been placed outside the reed and their width reduced to a minimum.
A well set reed
Cone-shaped bolts ensure perfect fitting. Flexibility and perfect fitting provide a well-set reed that won't move when turning or dismounting mouthpiece or when turning.
