Starclassic Performer Series
The Starclassic Performer Lacquer series feature shells of 100% birch with a high gloss lacquer finish. Birch is slightly warmer and darker than maple and has long been favored by both recording and performing drummers for its excellent projection. Toms are 6 ply 6mm and bass drums are 7 ply, 7mm.

TAMA Starclassic Performer....BEAUTIFUL!!! This drums along with the Tama Starclassic Maple are by far the best drums out there. I've own a 2005 Perfomer in Aztec Red Fade...absolutely beautiful. Its got a clarity much more impressive than many more expensive maple kits. The bass drum is deep and punchy, the snare`s got an increidible voice range and the toms have the perfect pitch. And though it may take some time to learn to how to correctly tune this drums, it is well worth it. Once this drums are well tuned you'll never want to hear anything else. Not only are TAMA the best drums, there the only drums. End of story
