A surprisingly good bass

My orchestra teacher bought these last year and I thought that they wouldn't sound good at all, well they sound pretty good, however, I suggest if you by this bass, that you get a thicker "G" string. This bass is very mellow sounding and I don't like how high the bridge and nut are. You should get them adjusted when you get this bass.
