The Musicians chronicles the lives and achievements of four famous African American musicians. This collection contains songs that may be used individually or performed together with the rhyming script, creating a mini-musical. The songs are short, and reflect the style of each musician: Scott Joplin W.C. Handy Duke Ellington Ella Fitzgerald. Choreography by Greg Gilpin is also included.

The Inventors
Chronicling the lives and achievements of four famous African American inventors, this collection contains songs that may be used individually or together as a mini-musical any time of year. The songs are short and to the point, with a variety of styles from Tick-Tock Boogie to Shoes Blues. Traffic Light is a 50s style ballad, and you better hold on to your hat for Ridin' On the Amtrak. Choreography instruction by Greg Gilpin is included.

The Scientist
The Scientists chronicles and celebrates the lives and achievements of 4 famous African American scientists: Dr. Daniel Hale Williams, George Washington Carver, Elijah J. McCoy, and Dr. Charles Richard Drew. Songs included are Heart, Oh My Heart; Blood Types; The Peanut Song and O-I-L Boogie.

The Athletes
Chronicling the lives and achievements of four famous African American athletes. Along with reproducible parts, there are learning activities and games for each athlete along with staging suggestions and choreography ideas by Greg Gilpin. Athletes include Ora Mae Washington, James Cleveland (Jessie) Owens, Joe Louis Barrow and Larry Doby.
