Remo's award-wining lines of drumheads, World Percussion instruments have set the standard for professionals, enthusiasts, and educators alike for their sound quality, durability, and value. When the company introduced its Kid's Percussion line, it single-handedly created the category for authentic, professional quality, smaller-scaled drums for children. Parents and teachers praised Remo for its quality and attention to detail. In the process, the line has won numerous parenting awards, including the prestigious Oppenheim Toy Portfolio's "Best Toy" award five times.
Building on heritage
Building on this heritage, the new line (name not finalized at press time) delivers kid's drums to a larger portion of the market due to its affordable price point. The introduced items are four streamlined instruments - a four-jingled single-headed (6.5"x2") Tambourine, a (6"x12") Konga complete with a strap, a traditionally sized children's Bongo (5" high and 5"-6" diameter), and a 6"x10" Floor Tom.

The drums are finished with a matching blue web piping. Keeping with Remo's tradition of delivering quality-sounding instruments, the new line comes standard with Remo's orchestral-quality Renaissance(TM) heads.
