Years ago I saw Dave Weckyl in a clinic. He talked about playing with a "looser" grip on the sticks which allow him to play in a more relaxed and natural way. Good golfers stress about the importance of club grip and ensure the rubber grips on the clubs in working condition. Try swinging a club with a bad grip and you'll find yourself clutching it tightly thru the swing, which is not optimal. This brings me to these stick rapps. On a whim I purchases these and stuck them on a pair of new ahead sticks. I was amazed by how much easier it was to play. I could loosen my grip and play in a more relaxed manner without worrying about sticks falling out my hand. I'd recommend trying them and see if it makes a difference.

As soon as you wrap these around your sticks they will feel a little unnatural until you play for about 30 minutes. Once you get them broken in youll never have grip problems again and it makes overall playing and jamming a lot more enjoyable!
