This is an amazing mouthpiece; it’s got it all, dynamics, altissimo, reed friendly, just a touch of bright, focused sound, not splattered. Good volume potential, it’s the finest tenor mouthpiece out there. I have quite a few mouthpieces in the draw.

It does not matter what saxophone brand you are using. I´m surprised ! The Pomarico Crystal Tenor Saxophone ( item # 81944 ) is fantastic. I´m using this mouthpiece ( #3 ) with a Fortissimo ¨Padded Tension Ring ¨ ligature ( item FFL - Model ANO4 - Large Gold ), and a Vandoren Java Reed #3 ( also # 2,5 ). It is incredible the sound you can produce ( with the rubber plate ). The sound gets out like a smooth honey flow: not too bright, not too dark, but sweet. Try this mouthpiece with this ligature and you will not recognize neither your sax, nor who is playing it. Finaly, the all set, mouthpiece, ligature and his special cap ( item # BR30 ), all together, they seem to be a beautiful modern, up to date, sculpture. A real masterpiece !
