It is true that once you play with this sound reflector, it is very hard to live without it. Enables you to hear yourself over an entire big band that helped my intonation. Only negative is that the shield itself if quite bittle. I have replaced the shield several times...now I use old 45 records as a shield and they work fine (as well as getting alot of comment about my record collection).
