I tried the pickup for a quick solution to be heard at a large outdoor gathering. The standard micro-phone system had too much distortion with the wind blowing. I stuck this pickup on the g-string side just near the F-hole and it was perfect. I use a 35 Watt Hartke amp. I would highly recommend this product for more than just tuning.
