Nice pegs that make tuning soooo much easier. It doesn't take all that long to get used to tuning these and not constantly try to break friction to tune the peg or look for the E string fine tuner.

I think the perfection planetary pegs are the greatest advancement for the violin since the chin rest. The ease which the peg turns and the fact that it has a 4 to 1 gear ratio, totally eliminates the need for fine tuners. The student violin, viola and cello player can now tune the instrument using the pegs and compare the perfect 5th sound with the neighboring string. If the pegs are installed with hide glue, they can be removed easily and traditional fiction pegs may be reinstalled.
