Incredibly well thought out. Neater than ANY of the other boards since the wires are hidden under the pedals. Pedals are mounted to an adjustable aluminum plate. You can change the height and angle or adjust both banks at the same level to accommodate larger pedals like volume and wah sets. A lot heavier (empty 17 lbs) than the Furman but indefinitely adjustable. This is my only complaint..with pedals this thing gets heavy, but then again, you can throw it of a truck and it will survive...and nobody's going to run off with your gear unnoticed. Can only imagine the weight of the extra large XLS board...Although not cheap, if you buy a $200 custom board and add the cost of a dedicated and filtered power supply and patch bank, it's not that bad at all. The power supply has 2 additional protected outlets. If you need more outlets, a powerstrip can be fitted under the pedal mounts, again keeping the wire mess away. No cables to snatch. After checking out what the market has to offer, this board is a no brainer. Put down the extra $100 and never look back. The supplied manual is extensive and well written with great suggestions for arranging the pedals and using the patch board. The manufacturer's website is informative and has all manuals and info available. The neat freak in me is a lot happier and I have no longer intermittent hums and hisses ! No gigbags to fool with, close the cover when done, pickup and go. You won't wear this baby out in a lifetime !

The Pedal Pad has made life easier for me on the road. The settings on my pedals stay set, because they're not getting beat up in my old gig bag. Less set up time, well protected, everything is right there, not spread out all over the stage. The modulated system makes managing my effects a breeze and fun, looks good and totally functional. The modulated power supply and patch bay modules are the best. You can see that some thought was put into this product. Top of the line folks, in quality and practicality, bar-none. If you don't have one, get it. I can't believe I didn't have one of these before now!
