Hooked me on ukuleles!

My first "real" uke: It made me smile and gave a new lift to my musical life. I have since bought tenor and concert Bushman ukuleles and play them all the time, but I still get my Oscar Schmidt out now and then and enjoy playing it. There's really nothing wrong with it except the tone and volume are not as full as the Bushmans. I recommend the Oscar Schmidts (I have a concert koa and a baritone spruce-top) for really nice starter ukes: They stay in tune, look great and you can play anything on them. For the price, I think they're well worth it and will help you decide if ukuleles are "your thing". A world of difference from the "white wood" boxes, they're real instruments.

Received this uke a few days ago and can't seem to put it down. The sound is great, the action could not be better, and the workmanship is beyond belief. The finish is like glass with not a blemish to be found.
