When I received the stand it was easy to open and close. It is very stable and lightweight. I was amazed how perfect it is for my alto sax. What a great deal.

The design of Oleg's stand is brilliant. Compact, solid and well-engineered, it's the best Alto sax stand ever! I'm eagerly awaiting a Tenor sax version of the stand -- are there any plans for one in the near future? I'll be the first in line to buy it.
