Probably the only straight mute I'll ever need...

Don't assume even for a second that because these mutes are very affordable, they're not the best. They're extremely comfortable, don't require you to mess with the tuning slide (which is very convenient in quick mute changes), and most importantly, they sound great. I own several MHT mutes now, and I couldn't be happier with the quality.

Excellent response in all registers and exceptionally good intonation. The horn does not go sharp for me when I insert this mute. -very useful in quick mute changes when there is no time to adjust the tuning slide. The price makes it an incredible deal.
