Model 45SLZ
The reaction to the recent launch of the new Meinl-Weston F-Tuba has been nothing short of phenomenal. This mid to large-sized rotary F gives the player the facility to produce a full, rich Tuba sound, together with excellent control across the whole range and unrivalled intonation, making the 45 SLZ the best all-round rotary F-Tuba money can buy.
Even more impressive is the method of development Meinl-Weston chose with the 45 SLZ. The majority of the early development processes took place via computer imagery at the Meinl-Weston factory in Bavaria, and together with the experience and extensive Tuba know-how of the Meinl-Weston technicians, the idea for a new kind of Tuba was born.
