Meinl Headliners are good drums that can be very good with better heads and rubber gaskets under the mounting plates. They're just fine for most small venue/bar gigs. I bought them for their 11" and 12" size and for the basket stands. The finish is very good. A Garage Band Delight and a very good value.

Very nice build quality and finish.They sound better than the LP Apsires and don't hurt my hands when playing.The stands stay put no matter how hard you hit them.I bought the matching Bongos and stand in sunburst.A great setup at a great price.You won't be disapointed.

I bought these congas for the size (11&12"), the stands (not dbl.hanging) and the price. I am glad to find that the fit and finish are excellent, as are the sound and playability of these drums. I"m a drummer, not a professional percussionist, but I"d say these "Headliners" can gig anywhere and not many would know the difference. Good deal!
