I have a Matador conga and tumba and then I purchased the Matador quinto and I have been VERY pleased with it. My biggest complaint about the Matador line before was the heads, but the head on the quinto was a better quality than the head on the conga and tumba had been. The Matador quinto sounds great! The slaps are sharp and crisp, open tones sound great, it is a great drum. I have played Pearl and Toca along with some others and I have never had any regrets about buying Matador.
