I'm a Pearl guy usually, but since nobody's paying me, I can play whatever I want, and I love this piece of equipment. The rubber ball bearings at the part where the cymbal mounts is genius. Perfect for fine tuning your placement. You can't get precisely the same placement that you used to have with multiple stands, and it takes some getting used to, but I still prefer this over having three stands all crammed together. No more messing with the tripods, raising them and lowering them and turning them around to accommodate the others. My only suggestions would be to make the part that holds all the boom mounts bigger, so that the 3 mounts are wider apart for better range of motion, and to make the actual boom arms longer. This thing is meant to replace 3 individual stands, so don't be afraid to make it beefy, Mapex!

I was able to replace four stands with this one (attached another boom arm for my ice bell).

It is very hard to figure out a good position to hang your cymbals so they don't hit each other because the arms are so short. But this 3 arms costs only 3$ more than the 2 arm mounting system, so I bought this. Also the system of Universal Ball-in-Socket Cymbal Tilters is great; you can adjust your cymbal good with this. But it is space and money saving!
