The MTS 1209V Large Frame Tuba Case is designed with protection in mind. The 1209V features a generous foam cradle, covered with a plush velvet lining. The hard plastic shell of the 1209 is lightweight and easy to maneuver because of the wheels located at the bell end of the case. An easy pull handle on the MTS 1209V is located on the opposite end to make it easy to move the case.

Great Case!! I use this for my Hirshbrunner HB-2 CC tuba. It is very sturdy, and well constructed. It is unstable when pulling behind you, but works very well pushing. Very protective yet light (as far as tuba tuba cases go). I checked my tuba in this case when I was traveling by plane, and there was no damage. This is a great case for anyone traveling by plane, or anyone who just likes to know that their instrument is protected. My tuba is extremely expensive and valuable to me, and I wouldn't trust it in any other case.
