Why Woodwind & Brasswind ?

The Ludwig Accent CS Custom Elite are drums that definitely stand out by their looks, their awesome features and most of all by their amazing sound. Manufactured with 100% birch shells to provide professional sound quality for the demanding player. Includes 18x22" bass drum, 16x16" floor tom, 8x10" and 8x12" mounted toms plus a 5x14" wood snare drum. This set features a high gloss finish and Vibra-bands. Cymbals sold separate.

This Accent CS Custom Elite Fusion Plus 5-Piece Standard Gloss drum set features 100% birch shells, a high-gloss painted finish, improved bass drum kick spurs, and Ludwig custom hardware. Cymbals not included.

These would be a buy at any price, but are an exceptional bargain. The bass drum is punchy with plenty of low end with the self-muffling Remo heads. The toms sound great, too, although the 16" is a bit of a challenge to tune with the stock head. The snare is the star of the kit, very sensitive with plenty of volume if needed. The hardware is good, solid stuff, and very well made. All in all, a good addition to the Ludwig line, especially with the updated bass drum spurs, which were the only weak link on these kits when they first came out.
