I really don't know why they say this is a country looking strap. Its got a deeply tooled 70's paisley patteren with a nice accent dye. I bought it for my American Deluxe Strat, and I don't know a lick of Counrty. It is 3" wide which makes it real comfortable for holding your guitar for any length of time. It feels thick like belt leather, but is still quite flexable. And it has a softer glove type leather backing. It's for sure the most I have ever paid for a strap, but, compared to the 10 and 20 dollar ones that I have owned, this one is well worth the price. Also it looks much nicer than the photos show it. I am really impressed.
