Laskey Trombone Mouthpieces
M Cup
This medium cup is not too unlike a cup found on the 6 1/2 AL. Not too deep and made standard on only our 54M mouthpiece. Throat size: .265"/6,73mm.
MD Cup
The volume of this medium-deep cup is similar to that of the 5G cup. And like the C cup, there is a significant difference in sound between this mouthpiece cup and the traditional "G" cup. Throat size: .281"/"K"/7,14mm.
D Cup
Though deep, this is not as deep as the 51D. Nor is it like any other cup was have seen on a symphony shank trombone mouthpiece. But what this cup does is give the player a wonderful rich textured sound. While many will love this as a second trombone cup, stronger principal players will appreciate the richness this cup offers. Throat size: .281"/"K"/7,14mm.
95D
For those who find the 60 just a bit small. Laskey keeps the same characteristics, but in a little larger version.
93D
Compares to a 60, or 1G.
85MD
This mouthpiece is not only good for most bass trombone parts, it also has been suggested that this would be an ideal solo bass trombone mouthpiece. Compares to a 1 1/4G or Schilke 59.
59MD
A 4G size mouthpiece but with a cup that will bring our the tenor quality of sound in the mouthpiece.
59D
Same rim as the 59MD, but with a deeper cup for the strong player.
57MD and 57D
The 57MD compares to the 5G. Whereas the 57D compares to the 5G, but with a deeper cup.
54M
Moderate in size, big in sound. Compares to the 6.5AL.
