Shaped identical to the Galaxy® Fiberglass Congas, these drums are perfect for any style of music and are great for live playing. All have chrome LP Comfort Curve® II Rims, 5/16" diameter tuning lugs and reinforced LP Heart® Side Plates, each secured with a backing plate.
Steel ring embedded near the top
LP fiberglass shells have a steel ring embedded near the bearing (top) edge of the drum shell for added strength and stability.
Hand picked rawhide heads
Each LP Patato Model® Conga comes complete with hand picked rawhide heads and LP Procare Integrated Shell Protectors that prevent the side plate hardware from marking or damaging adjacent drums. This new compact design offers maximum protection without detracting from the drum's beauty.
