I used K&M stands while I was in Germany. I decided to get one from WWBW when I returned to the States. I knew this was a good company since I had dealt with them through the Army. This stand is very well made, as you would expect. It has strong cast fittings and is well finished. I also found it to be very stable. They make a variation that has a foot piece on one of the legs that you can put your foot on to keep it steady in windy conditions. I also like the fact that the desk is connected to the main stand, making it very convenient. It also has built-in wind clips that work well. It will hold a surprising amount of weight. It is very adjustable-very easy to use either sitting down or standing. I also would recommend the bag for it. I have used many different folding stands over the years, and this is by far the best.
