Very stable, easy to setup and take down, stores in trumpet bell. It does fit in the bell of the horn while the trumpet is in the case, but it is a little difficult to get the trumpet out with the weight of the stand in the horn. I put it in my case separately. It holds the trumpet very well and is stable as long as nothing bumps into it. It is a great practice tool and if you think you will be able to use it only every now and then, you will end up using it every practice session.
