Product Description
JBL
The JRX115 is a 15 two-way front-of-house speaker with 1000 watts peak power capacity and 250 watts continuous. It features the dual-angle pole socket which allows the speaker to be mounted in either a conventional, vertical position, or with a 10 degree down angle. By aiming the speaker down, it is possible to achieve more even audience coverage and reduce the destructive acoustic reflections from walls.
Product Overview and Specifications
JBL JRX115 Portable PA Speaker

A sophisticated, advanced network topology design is utilized in JRX100 models to ensure quality performance. To minimize distortion due to coil saturation, heavy gauge wire is used for inductors and SonicGuard(TM) high-frequency driver protection guards against damage caused by inadvertent overpowering of the system. All full-range models feature Neutrik® Speakon® and 1/4" input connectors.

All JRX100 series models are constructed of carpet-covered, 3/4" MDF - a material that is structurally and acoustically superior to the particleboard that is used by many competitive products. To ensure durability, JBL constructs these enclosures with advanced adhesives and closely mechanically spaced fasteners, while competitive systems typically rely on glue. Non-resonant, all metal handles are used and an 18 gauge, full metal grille protects the drivers. All JRX100 models have passed the same 100-hour, full rated-power torture test that JBL high-end touring systems must survive.

My church uses four MPro 200 fifteen cabs on top of two Mpro 18 subs for mains, and two Jrx 15s for monitors. The JRXs sound almost identical to the MPros, that's because they put the same drivers in both cabs. I checked out the specs on the JBL website. The MPros have a better cabinet with a laminar flow baffle, but how much of a difference can that make. They are incredibly natural sounding and can get very loud. The sound quality is as good as if not better than super expensive speakers, they just don't have the power handling. That's why instead of getting two expensive speakers, you get six of these.

Style of music: Everything, except country.

I've used JBL for 15 years. I decided to upgrade my speakers. They were JBL Professional Series old Model. I bought the JRX115. They sound great. I put them side by side with Yamaha and Samson. Yamaha was good as well but more money. Samson was cheaper but come close to the sound. JBL is the best VALUE. A great sounding speaker, at an affordable price.
