The Harmon Wow-Wow Trumpet Mute has been one of the best models of this type of mute on the market for many years. Primarily used for jazz work, the Harmon mute is available in copper or aluminum, to provide different tone colors for the player.

The Harmon B Model Aluminum Trumpet Wow-Wow is a favorite effects mute. The "wah-wah" sound is made by a sliding cup in the end of the mute.
