This mute works and sounds great as well as cutting back on the number of mutes you have to lug around with you. The one complaint that I have is that the plunger occasionally comes off the straight mute when you're in a hurry to get the cup mute out of your bell. This doesn't usually bother me too much but in some pieces my stand partner had to completely cover for me because i was still fumbling with my mute.

good playing mutes but...

I bought this mute and it plays fantastic however one day it got pushed off my mute stand and the mute landed on the plunger end it warped the mute so it was hard to make it a cup mute the plunger would always fall off. So me and some buddies bent it back so now it’s fine. This also happened to one of my buddies so we did the same. But all in all I am happy of the mute and how convenient it is.
