The Meister Hans Hoyer 7800 Heritage Series Double Horns are the vintage aged version comparable to the old Conn 8D. The 7800 Series features a .468-inch bore with a Kruspe style wrap designed for excellent response and intonation plus a 12.2-inch large throat bell for outstanding projection. Decendent of the Kruspe-Horner instruments, the 7800 Series was developed in cooperation with legendary players Vince DeRosa and Myron Bloom. The Meister Hans Hoyer 7800 Heritage Series Double Horns included a case and mouthpiece and are available with mechanical valve linkage in nickel silver finish with a fixed bell (7801NS) or detachable, or screw bell (7801NSA) option.

The Hans Hoyer 7801 Nickel Double French Horn is tuned in the key of Bb/F double, detachable bell, mechanical linkage. The horn's pre-aged metal produces a startling vintage tone. Kruspe was the inspiration for the famous Conn 8D which helped define the sound of musical greats Vincent De Rosa and Myron Bloom.
