I just picked up one of these.. Had to after playing it for awhile, and then plugging it in. The workmanship is quite good for the price. I actually prefer it's feel to the more expensive Gretsch's... It's a little bit cardboardy sounding acoustically - like all Gretsch's but it has terrific action, excellent factory set-up, and a very true, in-tune neck. The pick-ups sound good also - especially on the bridge......very sweet and round tone. I even like the color (mine's red, w/ black sides and back) No case included - must order separately... All in all - I think it's a winner...good bang for the buck... ciao, Kenny
