I just recived my Gretsch G100 and am very pleased with it. This makes guitar #14 for my collection. I have always enjoyed the "Gretsch sound", and the G100 peaked my interest. I have been looking for a retro style acoustic and this model really does the job. The fit, finish, and set up were fine, right out of the box. I bought the natural version and am very pleased with the overall looks. The natural color has an aged patina appearance to it as well as the inlays on the fretboard. My only slight disappointment is that the finish is matte rather than gloss--I would happily have paid an extra $100 for a high gloss finish. The sound is what you would expect from this type of a guitar--it is more jazzy and mellow than my Martin & Gibson acoustics. The guitar plays like you would expect from Gretsch--nice and smooth all the way up the fretboard. I would highly recommend this guitar to those who want this sound and style of guitar.
