I give this reed four stars. It was a great reed but it was not the right reed for me. I just could not get great tone out of this reed. The reason I give it four stars though is because I got another reed of this brand at the same time and it worked lovely! The two reeds were like day and night! One plain out stunk but the other one was one of the best reeds that I have used. I took the reed that did not work and I scraped it down a little bit and then that one worked great too! I continued to buy these reeds and I found that they all worked great except that one reed.

The reeds are well constructed with good materials. Only a bit of touch-up with the knife and they play as well as my hand-made reeds.
