Acts like a $3000 wood bow, but it's not.

Recently my regular bow got stolen and I had to find a bow fast. In the mean time I used my back up as my main bow. I tried few Cf bows and found this Glasser braided bow that gave me a lot of control and a change that brought out more over tones on my violin. Let’s say I was surprised.

I found this bow to be a pleasant change from a wooden bow. It produces a slightly different tone, but not a bad tone. It also feels different. Because it is more rigid than a wooden bow, it is easier to control, especially for double stops. However, this also means the sound isn't as warm and my bowing arm seems to wear out faster.
