Be prepared to hold back! This stainless with a huge cup and back bore create the loudest sound you'll ever get out of a tenor. I listened to a recording of our band with me on 1st on this piece. I had no idea I was playing so loud! Put this in trombone and expect max power. BUT you can put it in a euphonium too! This one is about the size of a 52D or E with a flat, narrow rim. It gives a euphonium a good fundamental sound which would bridge the gap between tubas and trombones. Good range on a euphonium, not too high or low and of course, the projecting power of stainless steel. I recommend this for euphonium and 2nd-3rd trombone, depending on strength of chops.
