The ES175 is so close to perfect. It sings sweetly on those melodic solos and yet harmonizes so gracefully on the chord melody stuff. This is not a guitar for a shredder or some who bends a lot of notes. This is a guitar player's guitar and while it is unforgiving to the novice it is pure joy to those who take the time to learn her nuances and caress her with kindness. There is good reason for this being an all - time favorite of countless jazz guitarists.
