I ask for this for Christmas 2005, have played my mandolin with these picks almost every day, I AM STILL ON MY FIRST PICK! I have never dropped the pick, it isn't chipped, broke in any way, I have played hard, quickly, slowly, harshly and constantly. When I got the picks my strings where still in great condition, I now badly need new stings and the pick is still talking proudly.
