Gets the job done, but one shortcoming

I just bought the 88 and 61 key versions of the Gator lightweight semi-hard keyboard case. My first impression was that it created a sufficient outer exterior made of hard plastic and a plush interior with adjustable straps to secure the keyboard. The only thing that dumbfounds me about the case is that the top of the unit (when lying flat on its back) does not contain the hard plastic as all of the other sides. Therefore, there is virtually no protection other than the nylon and a couple of interior keyboard straps for the top of the keyboard. This shortcoming clearly makes my review of the Gator GK lightweight case a little disappointing. The only solution is to buy some extra padding (using egg carton foam or other foam) to make up for the lack of protection for the top of the unit. Other than that, the handle and wheels and all around craftsmanship are top notch and durable.
