Eight felt damping inserts
MX Bass Series offers a unique damping system that enables articulation and tonal purity previously unheard of in marching applications. A single 6.5mil internal overtone control ring holds in place a series of eight felt damping inserts. These can actually be reconfigured to customize the level of muffling and articulation!

Configuration
Smooth white with internal control ring and felt muffling arcs.

Thickness
Single-ply, 10mil with 6.5mil internal overtone control ring.

Sound
The sound is open and warm with great projection and cusomized articulation. The resonance has a customized sustain with a low focused fundamental.

Great for drum corps, marching band, outdoor and indoor.
