I recieved one of these snare heads as a gift in 2004, and it has to be the most amazing snare head I have ever had the privelege of hitting. It has a very fat, wet tonal quality, with great meaty low end punch. It is definitely worth buying if you like that kind of sound. Way to go, Evans!
