I just put these on a few hours ago and I'm already hooked. I've always played with thinner strings like Super Slinkys and now I'm experimenting with some higher gages. These strings have awesome tone and overall sound. You have to play a little bit harder to get the whole thing though. They stay nice and tight when they are down-tuned too. They are awesome for lower tuning... I play Drop C and these strings are the best I've ever played. But, moving up from thinner strings takes an adjustment. The high end is much thicker and harder to bend, but I'll get over that, and for the first little while, my fingers started to become unusually sore. But it's all good. I love these strings, and you should go get some.

Yeah so I had the Ernie ball hybrid slinkys on my guitar but got kinda bored of them and wanted a more 'phat' tone so I researched these bad boys and thought "yeah why not". I got them professionally fitted in and wowza they was niiiiiiiice. kinda heavy sounding Id say. They don’t feel any different to lower gauges but you can tell by the sound. If you want a more 'heavy', 'phatter' tone then get these bitches. You won’t regret it!
